Meet Amanda Dixon - President and Lead Designer

Amanda started her career in the Dallas – Fort Worth interior design industry in 2008 after completing her bachelor’s degree in interior design at the Illinois Institute of Art- Chicago. Having graduated with honors and armed with an impressive portfolio, Amanda was hired on at an award-winning architectural firm in Southlake, TX specializing in hospitality, medical and luxury multi-family projects. The 12 years following her move from Illinois to Texas were spent working on countless award winning commercial and residential model home projects where she got to work side by side with some of the most talented architects and designers in the industry.

In 2020 Amanda took her love of architecture and construction documentation, along with her passion for creating beautiful residential spaces and opened the doors to Dixon Design Interiors where she merges the technicality of the commercial design world with the personal touches of the residential world. Amanda takes great pride in customizing each project to fit her client’s unique style, needs and budget, while providing outstanding details and documentation for contractors.

In her personal time Amanda, along with her husband Luke, can be found cheering on their 3 kids- Hannah, Clark and Logan at the baseball field, football field and wrestling mat. When she has a free moment, Amanda also loves to read, bake and express her artistic talents of painting and drawing.
